Mu Xin
:
Mu Xin is from Jinan, the capital city of Shandong province, in China. He is a graduate of the Art Department at Jinan University. Mu Xin lives in Jinan with his wife, who is also an artist, and their young son. His paintings can be found in private collections in Europe and North America, as well as in China.
Yu Yu: Yu Yu was born in 1980 in Shenyang, the capital city of Liaoning province, in China. In 2004 she graduated from the Oil Painting Department at the prestigious Lu Xun Art Academy, Lu Xun Mei Shu Xue Yuan, in Shenyang. From 2004 to 2007, Yu Yu taught at the Jilin Art College in Changchun, Jilin. Since September 2007, she has been living and working in Beijing.
Xiao Min: Xiao Min is from Jinan, the capital city of Shandong province, in China. She is a graduate of the Art Department at Jinan University. Xiao Min lives in Jinan with her husband, who also is an artist, and their young son.
Tian Hui Zeng
: Tian Hui Zeng was born in 1973 in Hai Lin, in Heilongjiang province, China. Now living in Beijing, Tian is a graduate of the Art Department at Heilongjiang Normal University in Harbin, China. He has been a member of the Heilongjiang Artists' Association since 1990, while he was still a student. In 1996 he participated in a six-artist exhibition at the Heilongjiang Provincial Art Gallery, and the following year won an award for his work at the Heilongjiang Provincial Water-Colour Exhibition. In 1998 he undertook advanced studies at the Central Fine Arts Academy in Beijing. His work recently was exhibited at Beijing's San Yuan Art Gallery.
Wang Liang Xuan: Wang Liang Xuan is a highly skilled calligrapher from Jinan, the capital city of Shandong province, China. Mr. Wang's work is exceptionally fine. He is a member of Zhong Guo Shu Fa Jia Xie Hui, the prestigious Chinese Calligraphy Association, whose members represent only the very best in Chinese calligraphy. As well, some of Mr. Wang's calligraphy can be found in the permanent collection of the China Painting and Calligraphy Research Society. Mr. Wang is in his seventies, and still is very active. He has a small calligraphy shop which he has named Mo Run Zhai. "Mo" means "ink," "run" means "smooth," and "zhai" means "shop." This means that it is the shop of someone skilled and knowledgeable in the art of calligraphy--a most suitable name, indeed.
Xue Ming: Xue Ming is a talented professional artist from Beijing. He was born in Chengde, Hebei province, and graduated from the Art Department at Han Dan Normal University. Xue Ming now lives in a small town near Beijing. His wife also is an artist.
Zhou Qing Yun: Zhou Qing Yun was born in 1960 in Linzhou, China. After graduating from the Zhejiang Academy of Fine Art, Zhou had the good fortune to study under the reknowned water-colour artist, Xi Le Le. Zhou works at the Tian Xiang Art Gallery in Heze, a city in Shandong province. He currently is on leave from the Tian Xiang Gallery, pursuing further studies at the Central Academy of Fine Art in Beijing. Zhou Qing Yun is a member of Zhong Mei Shu Jia Xie Hui Shandong Fen, the Shandong Branch of the Chinese Artists Association.
Chen Jing: Chen Jing is a professional artist from Beijing. She graduated in 1996 from the Art Department at Lanzhou Normal University in Lanzhou, Gansu province, China. Since graduating, she has furthered her studies at Xian Art College. Chen Jing continues to live near Beijing with her husband, who is also an artist.
Xue Hao: Xue Hao is in his early 40s. He is from Jinan, the capital city of Shandong province, in China. In addition to painting in oil, he also is an accomplished water-colour artist. He is a graduate of the Art Department at Shandong Normal University in Jinan, and his paintings have won awards several times at All China Oil Painting Competitions. In China, Xue's work is held by the Henan Provincial Museum, in addition to art galleries in Hebei, Anhui, and Shandong. His paintings, both water-colour and oil, can also be found in private collections in North America. Xue Hao lives in Jinan with his wife, who is also an artist.
Liu Zhen: Liu Zhen is a professional artist from the city of Xu Zhou, in China's Jiangsu province. He graduated from Suzhou Fine Arts College in 1990. Liu Zhen's work was chosen for, and won an award at, the Jiangsu Provincial Art Exhibition in 1998. In 1999 he studied at the Central Fine Arts Academy in Beijing.
Wang Gong Xue: Wang Gong Xue is a graduate of the Art Department at Northeast Normal University in Changchun, Jilin province, China. Wang's work can be found in private collections in the United States, Japan, and Taiwan, as well as in various provincial museums across China. Photos of his paintings have been published in several books, and also in newspapers, such as China Daily, China Youth Daily, and China Art News. As well, Mr. Wang is listed in The Dictionary of Modern Chinese Artists. Wang Gong Xue lives in Beijing.
Wang Da Hai and Wang Li Huan: Wang Da Hai and Wang Li Huan are highly skilled, professional artists from Beijing. Both are graduates of the Art Department at Anhui Teaching University in China. In addition to working in oil, Wang Da Hai also is a talented water colour artist. The couple lives in Beijing. Their work is regularly seen, and sold, in art galleries in North America.
